HOW ARE LAKEWOOD FRUIT JUICES MADE?
Fresh fruit is picked, loaded on the field trucks and transported to the processing plant. Fruit is then washed, graded, selected and separated. The best fruit is then cold pressed and the juice is passed through a finisher to remove excess pulp, seeds or skin. The juice is then flash pasteurized, bottled and vacuum-sealed in new, clean glass bottles. The bottled juice is then labeled, cartoned and warehoused in our refrigerated storage facilities. The equipment used in this process meets all applicable USDA and FDA specifications and requirements.
